Dr. J. Mario Velasquez
Dr. Velasquez is a native of Colombia and has lived in the U.S. for twenty nine years. He obtained his Dental degree (DDS) from Universidad San Martin in Bogota, Colombia and then a Master of Science in Periodontics from the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Velasquez owns three dental offices in the Houston metropolitan area at which he has been practicing for the last twenty five years.
He has a comprehensive team approach and focuses his practice on Reconstructive and Cosmetic dentistry which includes: periodontics, bone regeneration, dental implants and smile design. Dr. Velasquez and staff provide the highest quality of oral and dental care using state of the art technology in a personalized, comfortable and caring atmosphere.
Their goal is to deliver the best available treatment options, reduce stress and achieve great results with reasonable fees. Dr. Velasquez is married to Tatiana Mejia-Velasquez. They have three children; Sophia, Simon and Sara. He has a great passion for Paso Fino horses and enjoys going to the shows and competing. Aside from horses, in his free time he loves bicycle riding, reading, fishing and hunting.

Nirali Shah
My name is Nirali Shah. I am a dental hygienist at Dental Innovations. I graduated from Pima Medical Institute in May of 2020 and I have been practicing full time ever since. I was born and raised in Houston. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time traveling, watching the Astros, and spending time with my fiancé and my two Australian Shepherds.
Amanda Vasquez
Office Manager
Amanda has worked in dental offices for over 20 years in the front office and in the office. She began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2004 and has extensive knowledge of all dental practices, procedures, and patient care.
Carol Jaramillo
General Manager
Carol has worked with Dr. Velasquez since 1996 in almost every capacity. She began her career in dentistry at the front desk answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling treatment, and verifying dental insurance before becoming a registered dental assistant. Her skill as an assistant and her natural leadership abilities led to a position as general manager for Dr. Velasquez's dental offices in the Houston area and she is a member of the AADOM. Like all Houstonians, Carol loves cheering on the Houston Astros and Houston Texans, and enjoys running in her spare time. She is a loving mom to four fur-babies. Carol is very excited to bring her experience and knowledge of the dental industry to a new Katy office.
